Heyes Mount

North West England [2011-2012]

Upon completion of this previously dilapidated detached house, this dwelling has become an exemplar for modern family living. The inclusion of large panel glazing has helped to flood the spaces with natural light. The innovative entrance canopy also enables the large timber garage door to float along the seemingly decorative facade structure.

The large expanses of glazing, timber louver doors and crisp white render complement the planted elements with the restricted material palette to allow a contrast between the vibrant grass and plants.
